Earlier In our company we were facing a lot of challenges apart from threat and vulnerabilities like data getting out. but through this software we blocked all the peripherals and also measure size of data in and out. Additionally, We can even install a single software into multiple systems. It was a great investment and worth every penny
  • Unauthorized device restriction - It restrict several USB ports and monitor files transferred in or out of the system
  • App installation in single click - With single click we can install a single software into multiple systems
  • Threat Detection -detect and protect from several vulnerabilities
  • User Interface could have been better. Otherwise everthing is really fine.

We use this product to manage applications on our endpoints. 3rd party patch management is challenging but with this product we have an automated process that can patch critical applications with no user intervention.
  • 3rd Party Patching
  • Remote Services and control
  • Inventory and reporting
  • Support is sometimes delayed due to time zone differences.
  • Documentation can be confusing
Endpoint Central is well suited to push applications and patch's to your various endpoints including Mac and Linux. The 3rd party patch's are already preconfigured for deployment so all you have to do is approve and they will start patching.

This software stands out as the premier solution for patch management, software distribution, and management of external devices. Its lightweight nature and straightforward deployment process are significant advantages. A key feature of Endpoint Central is the assurance provided by having inventory management, patch updates, and mobile device management all integrated within a single service.
  • Management of external devices
  • Software distribution
  • Patch management
  • Support in Europe and in Spanish could be improved
Excellent ITSM tool for any type of company.

The manage engine is an IT asset management solution. It is the main tool for inventory and assets, application of security packages and environmental management.
  • Asset inventory
  • Applying security patches and updating software
  • Remote support for assets on my network.
  • Installation of programs.
  • Patch filter on the patch application page.
  • Network map
  • Customized dashboards.
I recommend using the solution in environments where compliance, maturity and control of assets and software are outdated. I don't recommend it in an environment with less than 50 stations and collaboration on a single platform. The solution is very robust and allows greater visibility of the infrastructure, supporting the installation, updating and uninstallation of applications, as well as protection against ransomware.

ManageEngine Endpoint Central is a one console which can give you capabilities like managing Windows/MAC/iOS/android devices from a single console. You don't need to buy different products from market to manage your mobile devices separately. This tool makes the life easy for the admins who manages the customer environment. It is very great user interface tool which gives all the capabilities to manage the endpoints. It has so many features to explore and implement in the environment. Specially the patch vulnerability assessment feature is one of the best which gives you direction to make your environment compliant with all security updates and protect the devices from being vulnerable.
  • Patch Management
  • Application Management
  • Remote control
  • OS deployment
  • For managing the WFH users
When you are managing different tools like SCCM/Intune to manage on-prem and cloud devices then ManageEngine Endpoint Central can be the best suited tool to leverage all these capabilities in a single console and manage your endpoints with all the features like App deployment, patch management, Vulnerability management, OS deployment, MDM etc.

ManageEngine Endpoint Central is pretty important in our daily use. We have the agent installed on all computers allowing us to remote in to support a user at the most opportune time for them. We also implement the patching system, which, while it feels a little clunky sometimes, is a great help in keeping our devices secure.
  • Mobile Device Management is easy to get set up for users
  • Patch Management gives a clear overview as to how many devices are missing important updates
  • The Remote Control tool is a lifesaver for users working remotely
  • USB Secure configuration isn't possible for us to use as I can't manually add every single device ID from every computer for exemptions
  • The Remote Control tool hasn't ever reconnected for me when attempting a user device restart
  • It's difficult to fine tune our Auto Patch deployment
ManageEngine Endpoint Central is an ideal tool to help remote workers connect to our VPN as it just requires the agent to be pre-installed on their device and their connection to the internet. It makes supporting users quick and easy. The patch management can also be a heavily useful resource once it is fine-tuned to the point of working well.

The ManageEngine Endpoint Central tool is a great tool for IT support. The GUI is quite intuitive and doesn't require a lot of time to learn. Set up was easy to follow, and we were able to implement the solution within a couple weeks. Endpoint Central provides us with an easy to see view of our systems for patch management and vulnerabilities. Affordable tool with clear and concise
  • Patch Management
  • Remote Control Support
  • Inventory Management
  • Manual addition of computers not scanned.
With the world experiencing a pandemic social distancing is still very important. With ManageEngine Endpoint Central I know I can count on quick remote support for our end users without having to visit each desk. We also use the mobile device manager solution as a replacement for another big name mobile device manager. The ManageEngine MDM is much easier to use and more reliable.

We use Endpoint Central for controlling our remote computers, patching and, software deployment. It is also a useful tool for reporting on device inventories and software requirements. It makes it easy to see missing and available patches as well as third party software updates for 500+ laptops that are currently in use across the country.
  • Patch Management is very easy to use and deploy patches each month
  • Inventory Reporting is straight forward with multiple premade reports available
  • Remote Connections are very simple to use, it only takes 15 seconds to find and connect to a device.
  • Software Deployment and the Self serviceportal give you multiple ways of deploying your apps.
  • LAN Scan module would make it easier to manage missing endpoints and track down all kit.
  • Patches are not realised on the Tuesday in the UK, they can sometimes take a couple of days to show up.
  • More Customisation of the layout would be ideal
  • Chat function is a little dated
ManageEngine Endpoint Central has been well suited to me as an admin in a medium sized company it gives me lots of options to control our devices and has been my primary service used in the last few years. It is easy to pick and deploy patches, but there have been some issues with devices randomly not talking back to our distribution server. I would recommend the cloud version in hybrid working situations to ensure that devices constantly talk back to the distribution server.

I use Manageengine Endpoint Central for patch management, remote support, inventory collection, and mobile device management. It helps me keep up with compliance while providing a central tool for everyday tasks like troubleshooting and remote support. It's a great tool for monitoring software licensing compliance as well. It basically makes my job a lot easier.
  • Remote support
  • Patch management
  • Inventory management
  • Mobile device management
  • Licensing compliance
  • Software uninstall could have better reporting.
  • Updating the remote client can be problematic when an old version is already installed.
  • The secure gateway component could use some better GUI monitoring.
Best suited for an IT dept with limited staff to allow for efficient support for end users. Works great for deploying critical patches quickly and automatically to endpoints. The built-in chat is very useful for getting support for the product itself.

We utilise ManageEngine Endpoint Central to manage and secure approx. 2000 devices ranging from laptops, servers as well as more than 1000 mobile devices with the MDM add-on. Our people are spread all over the country, hence a tool that can manage (and secure) all of these devices in much detail was needed and this product has helped us significantly in achieving this.
  • Securing mobile devices
  • Monitoring and securing our various servers
  • Managing people using these devices
  • Protecting our network, company and client data
  • More granular access level controls for technicians (restrictions for juniors) on the Mobile Device Management add-on
  • Monitoring mobile data usage on mobile devices, this has been in the product pipeline for 5 years, but not yet implemented
  • Ability to remotely support company-owned mobile devices with no end-user permission. End-user needs to allow the remote session, when sometimes that's what we don't want since we're doing an investigation.
Years ago I investigated several similar systems, initially I did not consider ManageEngine since the pricing was too cheap to be a good product, until we did a trial. Wow, we were surprised. The functionality exceeded other paid-for applications, especially on the mobile side where most of our users are. It's worth noting we bought the on-prem version, but have never regretted it from a per user per month cost of almost all the other products available since we've grown from 300 users to close to 2000 now. If you want to properly manage your endpoints, albeit servers, PCs or mobile devices, all the functionality is there and when support was needed, the guys from India have always been very quick to respond and solve the issue. Even customizations we required were done at zero cost just to accommodate us.

We use it for the whole organization. Before the pandemic, all the users were working at the office, but since March 2020 all went to work on the home office scheme, then, we published the Desktop Central Server (because we use the on-premise version) to reach all user's computers. We can face the computers scanning and keep them updated using the Patch Management module, then, we make sure that all the computers and servers are up to date. Additionally, we can provide remote support to our end users to solve daily common issues like email fetching, web apps logins, etc. That remote support allows file transfer, chat, audio or video call with the end-user (among others).
  • Provide so many tools during the remote control (blank screen to the end-user, transfer files, chat, video call, send commands like Ctrl+Alt+Del).
  • Install / Uninstall software silently for the end-user, without the need for their participation.
  • Keeping the machines up to date using the patch deployment (for Windows and 3rd parties).
  • Automate the regular maintenance like deleting temporary files, emptying the recycle bin, and disk defragmentation out of operational hours.
  • Scheduled Wake On Lan the machines to execute some tasks, like prevent maintenance, install/uninstall software or patches. Obviously, it also can power off the machines after tasks are performed.
  • Increase the configurations for Mac and Linux systems (because most of the features are available only for Windows).
  • Expand the scope of the mobile app, like OS Deployment and MDM modules.
  • OS Deployment module has many flaws, I think it could be improved.
Well suited:
1) If you need to have the inventory details about your computers and servers, no matter if they are in or out of the office.
2) If you need to provide remote support to your end-users or inclusive to your end customers because there is an MSP version.
3) If you need to automate preventive maintenance to your computers and servers and keep them up to date Less appropriate:
1) If you need to deploy the whole operating system remotely, there are still some flaws, and is not so fast.
2) If you need to keep all control from the mobile app, as of now that is not possible because not all the modules are added in the mobile app.
3) If you need to block the USB ports on Mac or Linux machines because that feature is only available for Windows.

We use this program across the entire company. It allows us to manage all of the computers in the company quickly. I'm able to push software and updates to all of our computers. We also use it to manage mobile devices, which has been a great help to us.
  • Desktop Central is great for computer management. I'm able to monitor and keep track of all our computers. I can even audit what hardware and software are on each.
  • It's very easy to deploy software to our computers and even push OS and software updates
  • We can use the ManageEngine Desktop Central feature to manage the many Ipads we have in our company. I can push apps and profiles to them.
  • Computer imaging
  • Asset tracking
It's great for most organizations that have more than 20 computers. It makes the tasks of managing them a lot easier. I'm able to deploy software and OS updates to all of our computers at once, or in groups. I can choose how this is accomplished.
